Wow… called in on at Brad’s Burgers for lunch, Friday. I ordered the works burger which had everything you could ever want in an Aussie burger… bacon, egg, pineapple, betroot, cheese, caremelised onion, luttuce, tomato and a big dollop of bar b que sauce… absolute bliss! Absolutely nothing like american takeaway joints… not an uncooked onion or pickle in sight…
It seems the place is quite popular and understandably so. Really good value and for those who want something different, there are gourmet burgers too, including Tex mex, bacon bernaise and chipotle chicken to name a few.
I will return again to try some of the others!

We were just driving past, looking for something to eat, and decided to give it a try, and we’re we glad we did! The burgers we super fresh and super tastey. We went for old fashioned works burgers and a server of chips. Very surprised with the prices for the quality. We sat when it was empty, and by the time we had finished the place was full. A fantastic surprise. Highly recommended.

Located in Scarborough, it’s a nice and quiet town. Walked along the beach with my wife and happened by this place for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon.
I ordered the ‘Works’ (pineapple, beetroot, bacon, carne listed onions) and my wife ordered a Cheeseburger. They were both great and very satisfying. The patty was nice and big and all the flacours were spot on. Seating was right across the street from the ocean so had a very cozy and relaxing feel.
Burgers are a bit different in AU than they are in the U.S. I’ve had a few now in AU where the buns were enormous abut the patties were half as big. Having eaten many amazing burgers in the U.S. and several in AU, I’d say Brad’s is right there at the top of my list.
We have a favorite Fish & Chips place in Redcliffe and now a favorite burger place in Scarborough. We’ll definitely be coming back here next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend.
