I’ll start this review by stating that I prefer to buy from shops that aren’t owned by big-business(evil) supermarkets … but sometimes when you’re in the suburbs you just have to go with what is close by ;) Right, now that’s out of the way, this BWS is a lovely little shopping complex on Seacombe Road, which has some wonderful little offerings(another reason I visit this bottle shop). The staff are very friendly, and there is a large selection for such a small shop. I’m usually buying either wine or cider — the range of wine is extensive(as a lot of South Australian bottle shops provide these days), and there are usually great specials that encourage you to spend a bit more in order to save money in the long run(well, that’s what I tell myself when I walk out with 3 bottles of white rather than the intended 1!). The cider choices aren’t as extensive, offering just the basics in 4 packs, or large bottles(though I did spy a 1.5L magnum of pear cider, which is quite bizarre!). All in all, a good bottle shop, made just that bit better by their location, ease of carparking and friendly service.
