I have given up on this place, nice location but just like their sister location the boat house the service is poor. Generally due to in experienced staff. I have been here on multiple occasions when I have stood at the front waiting to see if there are seats available only to be ignored for over 10 minutes. I find a menu a little lacking also I like to go to the breakfast restaurant that has more than just bacon and eggs an the obligatory smashed avocado.

This place is getting better. Service is improving. The good food has also improved in quality. They have also opened the place up by opening up the rear wall of windows. Nice to breathe the fresh air and it makes the place have a so much nicer feel. View still astonishing obviously( Unilocal app is encouraging me to write more, but I’m struggling as this is just an update).

Hmmmm… fantastic location and amazing view. A great place to watch the world go by and soak up the atmosphere. The food left me disappointed and certainly wouldn’t recommend the Summer Slaw — tasteless, the fennel was dry and hard to palate. However I believe the Chicken Burger was delicious. Parking is not included and is $ 3:00 per hour, so be prepared with some loose change. Be sure to book for a table, or you might be disappointed(given the smallish eating space). And for a bit of nostalgia stop to lol at the photos in the main bar of the filming of Crackerjack the movie.

I give this restaurant a five star rating for it’s terrific view, contemporary and tasty food, and personable staff. Owner, Cameron is a fantastic chef, nice guy, and talented restauranteur. He spends quality time building rapport with his customers who often have a long history eating at his restaurants. A playground nearby, good parking and easy beach access makes this venue an opportunity for a family day out.
