Came here with a voucher… was a little bummed that they wouldn’t let me use it day after expiration when work unexpectedly came up the night I planned to use it (the day it expired). So I ended up having to go alone. Which is perfectly fair on their part to stick to the rules, though I’ve had other businesses bend it before.
Nonetheless, I was very pleased once I was there. It is a small restaurant (5 tables?) tucked away on a quiet street in Shelley — not something you’re apt to randomly stumble across! It had a nice, cozy ambiance, though, and the staff was very pleasant. The chef himself came out to make sure everything was ok, and what I suspect was either the owner or manager came out as well to see! (He was concerned that I sent so much food back… only because the voucher was meant for two and it was a ridiculous amount for 1! But I will be enjoying the leftovers all weekend!) The food itself was delicious! Everything seemed very fresh and nicely made. The navratan korma was a bit different from how you typically get it back in the states (red, instead of yellow, for instance), but it was fantastic! Yummy naan, a fabulous paneer appetizer, gulab jamun for dessert… just great Indian fare all around. They apparently also do takeaway. Highly recommended!
