I used to really like Mr Cyclo, they did awesome phở but i just bought some take away then and it had hardly any sauce in the sause container which they are usually generous with. There is much better phở else where where you get more bang for your buck. they progressively got more stingy with their Phở as time has gone on.

I feel bad giving Mr Cyclo 2 stars, if there was a 0.5 I’d add it on… it’s not that it was significantly bad, but it really wasn’t great Vietnamese — my bowl of bun was light on vegetables and completely(or almost) devoid of herbs, leaving me with a slightly heavy, at best adequate feeling instead of the light, flavour-bursting freshness that I associate with Vietnamese food. And really, that’s a dealbreaker for me.

I had high hopes for this place. The setup and design made it feel similar to the other Viet place across the street. The similarity ends there. The two dishes we ordered were below average and lacked any type of flavor. If you are after authentic Vietnamese, this is not the spot. If you are after good tasting Viet, this is not the spot. They were more focused on design of the establishment than the food.

A nice authentic Vietnamese restaurant serving all the classics such as phở, banh mi, vermicelli rolls etc. The food is cheap and comes out quickly.
