Antipasto Delicatessen and Fine Foods

Fresh Bread, Hot Pasta, Marinated Vegetables everything you would expect from a gourmet St Kilda Delicatessen and more. The windows of this Acland Court Deli shop are very alluring indeed with fresh crusty baguettes, rich colourful salads and a selection of baked goods it’s hard to walk by without stepping in for a quick browse. Antipasto Deli is a favourite of mine, being located right at the entrance to the Acland Street Coles it is easy to do your grocery shopping first and pick up a few fresh and tasty treats for the week ahead as well. They also make a great café latte with a selection of gourmet teas to choose from too. If in the area definitely recommend a visit to this little Deli delight, for some of the tastiest local produce around.

An open, inviting newspaper and magazine reading playground in the shopping complex in St Kilda’s Acland Street; right where the last tram stop for tram route 96 is. And a café latte was the perfect cheap, coffee treat that I decided to go for at this establishment while soaking it all in on a wet weekend.
The mobile barista, just situated right outside the deli’s entrance is so polite and full of energy himself. It must have been a double strength coffee keeping him awake; or it could be his passion for fine coffee. There was another customer sitting at the shared common table outside with me; and the observation skills of the barista was slick to notice that this elderly gentleman has had not one; but seven lattes on his visit to this establishment, so unheard of. Me thinks that a heart attack would be brewing (sorry, bad pun) if a young person like myself would drink the same. One latte was plenty, and a great coffee that would not spoil any occasion. Sweet and aromatic. A spoon of sugar did not; however any more than a spoon of sugar — the caffeine concoction would be way too toxic for me. Anytime your shopping or hanging out near St Kilda Beach and/​or in Acland Street; come and have your coffee fix here.
