The views of St Kilda Marina are stunning early in the morning sun. However with that sort of vista one could be left thinking they’d walked into a tourist trap café. That is certainly not the case at The Great Provider.
Things have improved here over the past few months. With greater numbers now coming here, following the change of owners at Café Racer, the service and staff numbers have lifted substantially.
In the category, eateries with stunning views along the St Kilda foreshore, this little lady scores well in service, prices and quality of the fare on offer.
The full breakfast is a hearty choice with spinach bacon mushrooms eggs as you like, etc.
Give it a try on a sunny St Kilda morning. Enjoy!

Walked in and was ignored by the hostess. Several tables available but dirty. While waiting for tables to be cleaned we were offered no water, coffee or menu. After 10 minutes we were begrudgingly seated and again not offered water or coffee. We had to request menus more than once. After 20 minutes of being ignored we got fed up and just walked out.
