An award winning freelance kitchen designer, I am passionate for creative design in residential homes. Working alongside builders and architects, renovators and owner/​builders, I plan joinery for both renovations and new homes.

My main strength lies in my ability to listen and work closely with my client to create highly functional, unique, and beautiful spaces. It is my belief that «no matter how attractive a room may feel; if it is not practical it soon becomes ugly in the eye of the user».

With over a decade of experience working with Adelaide’s top kitchen companies; I have become a master of difficult spaces with clever ideas for storage solutions.

History

Established in 2012.

For many years I had witnessed my clients spend a lot of time shopping around the major kitchen companies, only to end up feeling stressed and more confused than when they started. Understanding that people are generally time poor and budget-​conscious; with a changing market, I realised there had to be a better way.

TK Design was created to put the client back in control; dealing with just one designer alleviates confusion and minimises time spent developing the design. The plans are purchased up front, and can be conveniently shopped around for a haggle-​free comparison to find the most suitable cabinet maker for the project.

My goal is to be the best in my field by providing my clients fantastic custom design, outstanding service and an enjoyable experience while building or renovating.

Business Owner

Tania Kloester is a dynamic, award winning designer who is highly regarded within the design industry. With a background in Visual Art, Tania has had over a decade of experience working with Adelaide’s leading kitchen companies, including Complete Kitchens and Jag Kitchens. Tania has a proven track record for amazing renovation projects and new home builds, together with Medallion Homes, Wabnitz Homes, Scott Salisbury Homes, and DJ Developement, plus a great number of smaller builders.

Tania created TK Design in 2012 to put the client back in control. By listening to, and understanding the needs of the client, she is able to provide a tailored design solution without losing sight of what is most important — the creation of the perfect living space that is considerate of lifestyle, practicality and budget. With the ability to purchase plans direct, clients are able to discuss their project with any number of joiners. This allows them to choose the best fit for them.
