One of the ever changing bakeries of Strathalbyn(now known as Café Bean Machine) always seems to be the cappuccino stop of choice for bikies on the go. Located just across the street from Strath’s own little ‘Central Park’(Soldiers Memorial Gardens), it’s an easy choice to take your food and drink across the road and enjoy a sunny Strathalbyn afternoon. If you’re in a hurry, Bean Machine do stock Heritage Pies and Pastries, popular throughout the Fleurieu, and as the café’s name suggests, coffee is available and of a good standard. On the weekends parking can be a little challenging, but if you’re a motorcycle enthusiast, there is dedicated motorbike parking right out front.
