When it comes to fast food, you can’t ever expect anything special. But unfortunately you will struggle to get anything that can be easily digested here. Not to mention that everything looks like its been thrown together by 6yr olds… I’m only disappointed because I know the food used to be ALOT better but it seems quality isn’t the priority at the moment.

It was a relief to find a Chicken Treat that can boast the skill and ability to cook its food the way it should be cooked. The chips were golden brown and sumptuous, the chicken burger had just the right amount of mayo nestled in it and the drink… well, you can’t really muck up a drink, can you? Chicken Treat, when cooked properly, really does taste like a treat. I’ve had a bit of a bad run of late with overdone chips, stale buns and miniscule amounts of mayonnaise. But today, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch time delight and even enjoyed the opportunity to take a look at the slick new restaurant. Minimalistic bright red chairs dot the dining area and are a stark contrast to the peachy/pink 80s décor that still resides in some chains. I’ve been here twice in the last few weeks and both times I’ve got the same circa 18 year old girl. On my first visit she looked hopelessly bored but was polite in an obligatory sort of way, telling me to ‘have a nice day’ in a more than monotone voice. I can’t blame her. I was overtly unimpressed when I worked at KFC. Sometimes the minimum wage plus a half hourly urinal clean does not a happy worker make. But, get that gross image out of your head. The food here is really nice and the service is okay considering the trials and tribulations this girl has to go through in an average work day.
