Went here with a friend for breakfast. From the outside it looked really cute, hence why I was dragged in as the pink caught my friend’s eye. We ordered coffees while decided what to eat. Thankfully, I decided to order the take-away cup as it was bigger than the tiny cup my friend received, which was supposedly the biggest they had. This annoys me as it means you have to order 2 coffees in order to get the caffeine hit you need/desire. Due to the cute sitting area outside I was dragged out there to sit. I order the smoked hickory beans, eggs on toast with a side of mushrooms. My friend ordered the Mexican style beans with hashbrown. There seemed to be 2 lots of toast/fried bread for each dish. The fried bread was a surprise and did bring memories back of my childhood — so well done on that score. The sample(spoonful) of beans that were on each dish was really disappointing as it didn’t even hit the mark of a side dish, it literally was a sample. It all tasted good but the portions were ridiculously small.

Very impressed for day two of opening! The team seemed to be pretty organized, helpful and attentive with clearing away. Food on offering is a mixture of cabinet options(salads, bagels, savoury cakes eg fish cake) and made to order specials of hot and cold food. Hot on offer changes daily, today was a selection of tacos(vegetarian and meat), cold food was made to order sandwiches(Reuben, Po’boys etc). Beverage selection is seriously limited with only soft drinks(coke, sprite) and water(sparkling, coconut) BUT the coffee was INSANELY good! Using Creama beans and jersey cow milk from Harvey Fresh, their cheapest coffee is $ 3 — beyond a bargain. The promise of Empanadas from the manager as a future hot daily special will bring me back a second time!
