I came in on a Tuesday night for Taco Tuesdays where you can get $ 3 tacos(normally $ 8+), $ 5 cans of Tecate, or $ 10 margaritas after 5PM. I ordered the grilled fish, the grilled chicken and pork belly tacos. I enjoyed all three tacos and couldn’t pick a clear winner since all three were delicious. The bar is located in the lobby of the QT hotel. Along with the hotel, the bar is very trendy and full of art. You can have your drinks/meal while sitting on the couches surrounding the bar. The staff was friendly, quick, and attentive. I would definitely come back, especially on Tuesdays.

The Singapore sling certainly packs a punch, but the overuse of ice doesn’t give much room for the actual drink. The lovely waitstaff are defiantly worth the trip

This is by far one of my most favourite bars on the Gold Coast. If you make it there Tuesday nights you will get $ 3 tacos and $ 10 margaritas. It is all excellent customer service and they will make you any custom taco you want. All friendly staff that offer table service and are quick to bring your food out and you really get to enjoy the Mexican vibe that they provide. Not only that but the whole building«QT» that this bar is in is absolutely incredible artistically, you will find pixelated rainbow waterfalls and intrinsic art installations all around in all kinds of different colours and shapes to arouse the eye. The gourmet buffet upstairs is another excellent place to check out. Whoever wants to visit the Gold Coast should definitely stay at this hotel.

A fantastic addition to the QT lobby, it has a unique cocktail list, friendly staff that are incredible attentive and know their way around a bar menu. The overall ambience is perfect for the beginning of an evening or a low key event away from the main strip but for those still in the mood for a cosmopolitan vibe. My husband and I spent time here during our honeymoon as we were staying at QR and the staff were remarkable, it was just after the re opening, everyone really went above and beyond to make our time special.

Oh QT. You’re a flirt. I’ve been to stingray a couple of times, each when I’ve been staying upstairs in the hotel. Sometimes the prettiest ones can let you down the most cant they? Although part of the hotel, its a fairly different experience to the service the hotel can provide. Most of my experiences at Stingray have left a bitter taste. With Surry Hills as my home base I have a fairly high tolerance for inflated self importance, but most of the staff at Stingray really excell at this. Settle down guys, its the GC. Each time there has been one notable exception in the staff, someone who gets unpretentious service, but for the most part the staff seem so excited to be a part of something they want to be exclusive but is actually designed to be inclusive and relaxed. The weekend dress code is also annoying, collars essential for men, I understand they are trying to set a standard, but there were some rough shirts in there, with many stylish tshirts that would have looked better. And if you want to be a stylish place — get the NRL off the TV! The menu is interesting, especially for the GC, and worth a look. A good guide has been to check it out on on a night that isn’t Friday or Saturday…

I went to Stingray for afternoon drinks with one of my best friends. I wish we were there during the evening to check the place out! I heard about their food and trendy vibe in the evenings. I had the lavender drink(sorry, forgot the name) which contains Australian lavender liquor and my friend had the mojito, and some champagne afterwards. Good drinks and there were plenty of space where you can just lounge around, especially because we were the only ones there at 3pm ;) We just sat around the«lawn» carpeted area and helped ourselves.
