Nice little unassuming place. If you want 5 star service and food you won’t get that here. What you will get is good food and a good atmosphere. We ordered the tandoori chicken pizza and the grilled salmon. Everything was quick and tasty. Would recommend if you aren’t a whinger.

Basically a food court with tables, except everything takes 40 mins. Pizza tasted like cardboard wine is horrible and you have to order at the bar everytime you want a beer. The toilet is at the end of a labyrinth and to find it one must decipher a series of ever more complex riddles. A BBQ chicken pizza came out with tomato sauce, was sent back, and was resent to a table with a miserly dripping if BBQ sauce. When asked how we ended up with the wrong order the«waiter» started talking then drifted off mid sentence no doubt thinking about the pot he had left in his other pants at home, which unfortunately he could not smoke until he got home with his pseudo intellectual uni students talking about how they are the generation that will solve the world’s problems. Maybe he should get some chips on the way home, some cheese and bacon balls maybe, or god forbid some pringles if he can afford them.

After driving nearly an hour and a half to Surfers Paradise from Brisbane my friends and I were famished! Let me remind you, we haven’t eaten since the night before. Since I’m always very skeptical of where I eat it, I knew it wasn’t a good idea to go to the first place you find. This was the case with Surfers Paradise Beach Café! I ordered a chicken caesar wrap with a sprite. I don’t know if they were short handed that day, but the girl behind the counter didn’t know what the hell she was doing. It probably took her six minutes just to punch in my order! She told me she would put my order with my friend’s. I said fine and we went and sat down. Not only did she say we couldn’t sit in front of another restaurant(unless the owner OK’s it), but she gave my order away to my friend! I thought what my friend had looked different then what he ordered. He ordered a chicken avocado sandwich. When I went into question where my order was she said I already brought it out. I told her no she didn’t and then she realized she gave away my caesar wrap to my friend! She called her manager out and he said he could make me one IF the other sandwich my friend ordered hadn’t been started. It was already started so they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I don’t see how big of a deal that would be to make another chicken caesar wrap?! I get that things cost more than they do in America, but the customer is always right and you should give them what they want! Remember that Surfers Paradise Beach Café! You made the mistake and didn’t even apologize. Horrible customer service, food is priced average and tasted about average as well. I would highly suggest eating at anywhere else when in Surfers Paradise, even Hungry Jacks!

Good food. Quick but unfriendly service. Cheap drinks on Sunday. And across from the beach.

Came across this great little place on the foreshore while on holiday. Excellent priced meals/drinks especially the sundowner specials. We pretty much lived there for a week. The staff were very friendly.
