History

Established in 2006.

Starting in Balmain, Bat Tech started offering computer repairs and onsite business support to local clients. As rapid expansion driven by attention to detail and quality service took place, the move was made to the current Surry Hills office.

As the business and technologies progressed, relevancy and being dynamic has played a key role including the upgrading of skill sets to now incorporate the latest smartphone and mobile devices, as well the move to cloud and hosted solutions, and general increase in client’s demands of the technology they use.

The team at Bat Tech has grown from humble beginnings of one to now inlude a base level of 6 technicians, and a variety of other service consultants and project contractors that are utilised heavily as projects come about.

Currently Bat Tech is aligned well to make use of the latest technologies to assist clients best and ensuring continual improvement in all facets of the business with the goal of being Sydney’s ‘Go To’ IT Services Centr

Meet the Business Owner

Kevin O.

Business Owner

Kevin started Bat Tech 6 months after moving to Sydney in 2006. Realising the need for a more centralised IT solution provider, the lack of local IT businesses, and the passion to provide a reliable solution to clients, a website and a handful of flyers later and Bat Tech was born and Kevin’s current Entrepreneurial status ever since.

Over the years Kevin has worked in diverse industries and studied many different areas before focusing his energies on Bat Tech and the IT industry. Before that study and work has included supermarket manager roles, security guard dog patrols, school co-​ordinator at one of Adelaide’s largest private music schools, music studies, accounting studies, and project work at large organisations including the pharmaceuticals industry and at the large finance house of Deloitte.

Through all this Kevin has operated with the values of honest and ethical business practice, the continual push for constant improvements, and valuing other’s input and strengths.
