Jillian’s Cakery is top notch! So good that I’ve already bought two small cakes and multiple slices in the space of a month from this place, not to mention, I’ve converted my work place as well and they now buy cakes from Jillian’s for our work birthday celebrations /afternoon teas. The reason I first tried Jillian’s Cakery was because of their«Tres Leches» cake which means three milks in Spanish. This cake is really popular in the U. S so ever since I moved back to Australia, I have been on the lookout for a good ‘Tres Leches’. Although the cake was good, it is more dense that the regular tres leches which is stated on the website description. It was still delicious, and I ate every last bite — but not exactly the same as you would get in the U.S. Now, for the good stuff. You NEED to get the Red Velvet Cake! I’ve purchased this cake twice for my family + fiancé, and we have had this cake twice at work. It is AHH-MAAZING! Literally — it is heaven! Just try it — you will thank me later. For a slice of cake, it is $ 6 or you can get a small cake that feeds 8 – 10 for $ 30. The larger cake that we get for our workplace is $ 56 and feeds approx 20 people or more. I have also tried the Devil’s Food Chocolate Cake(which is very rich!), the caramelised banana loaf(delicious), the gluten free chocolate and pear cake and the pineapple coconut loaf(moist and amazing). All in all — would definitely recommend Jillian’s Cakery. My workmates and I are all hooked on this place!

Stopped by after a meeting for a Lamington. Simple, right? But simple things leave no room for error. The sponge itself had a perfect texture, with just the right moisture. The chocolate layering was of an even thickness throughout and remained solid even after an hour on the Bankstown line on a cold winter day. The coconut was much better than the dried stuff I expected to have come out of a plastic bag, although that could be placebo from happiness with the rest. I cut it into pieces and it had disappeared in 30 seconds in a house of non-cake eaters. What can I say. I’m going to stop by more often.

Amazing cakery. Head there if you need fancy desserts(take away or seat in). I fell in love with the gluten free chocolate and apple cake. It is really nice to seat outside enjoying a drink with your cake. Fyi, single origins café just up in the street get their desserts from there ! Much better to go there directly. Cherry on the cake, staff is really kind and proactive.

I came by this place after spotting a fellow customer at Brooklyn Hide with a cake box, and some frantic googling after catching a glimpse of the label. Everything in the display cabinets looked amazing. I got a very generous slice of the classic red velvet cake, which made a very nice post bubble bath treat. The cake was moist and the perfect mix between dense and light. With a nice amount of icing that didn’t drown the cake. They also have samples of the cakes, all of which were lovely. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their goodies
