Came here during my visit to darling harbour, sea life aquarium and wild life zoo. Food was decent. Ordered a full rack of the pork ribs, lamb gyro, and calamari. The calamari was good and wasn’t too salty. My girlfriend had the lamb gyro and she was it was really good. The pork ribs was huge! But it wasn’t as good as I was expecting. It was sort of tough. And when you eat ribs you expect them to fall off the bone. The sauce was good though. Not bad but a little over priced too.

Adria has plenty of outdoor seating and a nice overall atmosphere for getting a meal. They have excellent cocktails. I enjoyed a very good passion for mojito here. The lamb rotisserie was very flavorful here, but the side items fell short. Service was also very slow here.

Finally a place that offers fantastic food at a reasonable price!!! WRONG!!! Quite the opposite actually, the food is extremely mediocre for the price. I made the mistake of choosing«Adrias big breakfast» thinking that it would be a stunning meal, it arrived at my table 6 mins after I ordered(quite peculiar for a big breakfast) I then understood why, everything was warm to cold, the eggs were undercooked to the point that the white of the eggs was runny, the toast hardly toasted and old, and everything else was microwaved if not just left out, the hash brown was a little warmer but not by much. After paying I took a wonder inside to see the kitchen and to not much surprise all of the ingredients that were in my big breakfast were left out and not being kept warm, including bacon!!! To be frank the chefs should be ashamed of themselves if someone is to pay for your food and dine in your restaurant then you should at least have the decent courtesy and cook the ingredients fresh, appalling food and a pathetic experience having left me feeling sick and robbed. Although on one upside I can’t complain about the bottled tap water.

The food was excellent. The ambience was great. I had beef lasagne, it was one of the best lasagne I’ve had. Perfect balance of sauce, beef and cheese. My husband had rotisserie slow cooked beef with veggies. ‘Melt in the mouth’ were his first words after taking the first bite. Only small issue was we had to use our phone flash light to see the food and menu since it was after 7 and the lights were very dim.

I only got the calamari cuz I’m cheap, but it was THEBEST calamari I’ve ever had in my life. The restaurant itself is also very nice since it’s right on the harbour, and the service was very friendly as well!

Just left this joint, had a great atmosphere dj playing music while waiting at a bar for drinks was interesting. When we finally got a table it had a great view of the harbour and fireworks althought our food arrived warm and only 3 meals arrived out of 4 . My pork ribs arrived with a small tiny bowl of mash after 90mins was very average, our friends fish and Samon was small and tasteless. The waitress kept disappearing, and no water was served we had to ask for drinks several times. As for coffee and dessert well the service wasn’t there so we got the bill and went to Lindt for coffee/mochas and dessert . Very pricey and food not quality but great tourist location. The first place I go to in Sydney where there’s actually service, the waiter was very friendly another first she made small talk with me she is definitely getting a tip and a good one at that. Nice bar and grill at the harbor, overpriced but it’s geared towards tourists and you are paying for the location, it had live music that ended as I was being seated, but then the DJ came on so not bad. I ordered the scallop as my entrée and the famous barramundi fish as my mains and of course a berry iced tea. The food was good but service was greater. Thumbs up!!! A must visit in Sydney. P. S the DJ is hella good and the place turns into a swanky dance lounge for anyone who wants to dance all that food off and I took mighty advantage of it. Surprised everyone else just sat down and watched. I guess dancing while everyone is watching is not an Australian thing. I had fun though.

We had a fantastic breakfast here and were impressed by the warm greeting of the hostess and the excellent service. Everything fresh and hot and some of the best poured flat whites in Sydney in my opinion. They are right next door to Nick’s and evidently do live music in the evenings. Offers outdoor seating with excellent views of Darling Harbour.

I have to say that we only stopped here for a quick drink on the way to the Aquarium, but it was a wise choice. The bartender was quite the showman. I think that after watching the movie«Cocktail’ he decided to take all the tricks to heart and learn them and let me tell you what, he nailed them. The show he did on my drink made my husband wish he had ordered something more involved that the draft beer he had!

Will NOT go back. Service was very slow. My wife received a dirty water glass. Then I received a dirty wine glass. The chicken was fatty and lacking taste. The only reason for two stars is the scallops were very good.

Pack up your patience, put on your best pair of jeans and head on down to Adria. You’ll need your patience when you waitress disappears with your order, fills the drink portion of it, and leaves you thinking that she has personally gone to catch the fish you ordered; and milk the cow to make your Crème Brûlée. When of course my meal did arrive, it was perfect. The barramundi was cooked to perfection and seasoned to an acceptable level; the potatoes were crushed and not pulverised; and the tomato and green bean gremolata was flavourful and chunky, but a little salty. The Crème Brûlée was laced with caramel and chunks of banana, and was like breaking through a sheet of golden glass with a sweet treat at the bottom. The staff are warm and friendly, and make you feel welcome from one end to the other of your Adria experience. Your choice of views is limited to Harbourside and the hotels behind it, and The Star to the west; and the Lindt Café to the south. Pay them a visit with an open mind, a smile on your face; and immerse yourself in the atmosphere… You won’t be disappointed.

Fun place. Perfect location, in the middle of the action in Darling Harbour. The rotisserie lamb is fabulous. The potatoes and grilled Mediterranean vegetables were an ideal accompaniment. The pumpkin créme brûlée was very good and imaginative. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

We decided to dine at Adria as it looks cosy with all the heating provided. Plus there’s happy hour with standard beer, wine and cocktail. There’s also early dining specials. service was a let down. One of the waiter was rude, said to me if I’m not ordering then why am I sitting there, before checking if I’ve ordered or not.(Menu was not taken away as we might order more later). Made me feel like they are not there to provide good service but to only ensure people order, eat and get out as soon as possible. On a plus side, we got another waitress to serve us and she’s much more pleasant. Overall, food was ok(7⁄10) but service was 3⁄10. Definitely won’t be returning, given that there are so many places to choose around there.

Only had drinks… The wine glasses are so thick it looks pretty cheap and is quite uncomfortable to drink from. The outside sitting area does not really have an atmosphere. Indoors looked Nicer with a live band playing but was fully booked. Unless you are with a large group there are far better options

It’s almost been 2 years since my last visit and I was pretty excited to come back. But what a let down, the menu has changed and the quality has suffered. Got the mixed meat plate and I was surprised from the lack of meat on my plate. The mix dip plate was below average and the haloumi salad was awful. I was still hungry so I ordered the mushroom risotto but after two spoons I asked for the bill. The food lacks flavour and taste. Staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. It will be more then a few years till I come back here again.

A funky bar! Loved the cocktail bar an doing his thing… talented man! I know I would have smashed all of the glasses. This place has a great feel, lively music and disco lights flashing. just want to get up and shake my boogey! The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The location is fantastic right at Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour. I didn’t have any food here… but there is a good range and a range of prices. Atmosphere plus… lots to look at and easy to meet people here too. I’ll come here again! Oh better go… the start of the pre fireworks and my friend has wondered off in the crowd!!! Come back!

Sis and I came here to chill and have drinks after a wonderful day exploring Darling Harbor. The Promenade on Cockle Bay was the perfect way to end the evening. I couldn’t asked for a better way to end a Friday night; stuff drinks, solid nibbles, and fireworks… awesome! The ambiance was just perfect; it was full of energy. Loved the drinks and nibbles. There were some great happy hour specials, and I think we took advantage of all of them.
