History

Established in 2005.

Bet’s B&B began life as a barn. Or at least it stands where a barn once stood more than 100 years ago: a horse and cart below and a hay loft above.

Back in 1988, when Bet and Keith bought the house in Annandale, the rickety old wooden barn was at the bottom of the garden in Piper Lane. Before it fell down, Keith pulled it down. But when it came to rebuilding the structure many old features were incorporated in the new building.

Its unique features include the soaring vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams, polished timber flooring, walls of exposed brick and western red cedar panelling.

The conversion of the old barn into a stunning B&B was completed in 2005. The studio provides guests with unique, comfortable and enjoyable accommodation, renown for its cleanliness and stylish furnishings.
