Staff are rude and unfriendly and the product is bitter and lacking flavour.
How am I meant to fluff that out to a full review? Well, my all time favourite flavour is honeydew… They don’t have that flavour; :(I ordered lychee instead, with grape jelly, yum-​o. The young girl serving me mumbled everything she said and didn’t look up from her screen the whole time. I’m not sure whether she was polite or not because I didn’t understand a thing she said. My drink was ready quickly which was great and definitely not something I’m used to from ChaTime, it’s a shame it tasted like it had been made with tea bags from the back of grandmas pantry that went stale 10 years ago. There was definitely no hint of honeydew and the «grape jelly» in the bottom was like flavourless gelatine. Ahh why did I bother even ordering flavours?

Good lil drink chain offering an assortment of refreshments including milk and standard iced teas. Had the lychee green tea w coconut jelly, no sugar (although it was oddly sweet). Quick n refreshing and just as costly as running out to a SB ($ 4 – 6 depending on what you get) so might as well come here and try out something a lil diff on those hot days that simply demand a chilly drink.
Cute name. ‘Cha’ means tea in viet; athough, i don’t think this joint is owned by viet ppl: P

A day in Sydney was never complete without a jasmine milk tea from Chatime! Completely obsessed with this place!

After seeing Chatime stores spring up all over the city and in suburban shopping malls, I decided to give it a try. Glad I did! The iced milk teas they sell are amazing, particularly if you add jelly (50c premium). The drinks range in price from about $ 3.50 to $ 6, a little pricey, but no more expensive than similar products at Easyway. The teas also seem less sugary than Easyway. Many Chatime outlets also have seating, so you can sit and browse a newspaper or magazine while you drink your tea.

Easyway or Chatime? Now that is the question. I’m in favour of the latter purely because when I order a milk tea I actually want to taste the tea not sugar. Someone once told me the approximate amount of sugar in Easyway and its was something ridiculous. I’m sure Chatime has a tonne of sugar in it too, but it just tastes less sweet.
Pearl milk or bubble teas are the most popular (I like mine vanilla or roasted milk flavoured) but a friend of mine swears by the fruit tea. You can control the sweetness and ice level. Normal sweetness and ¼ ice is my order.
So if you’ve never tasted a Taiwanese drink before, Chatime is a great place to start. Be adventurous (unlike me)!
