We are a Sydney Recording studio that specialises in voice over, ADR and music recording. We have high-​end equipment which guarantees that our clients will get the best quality recording possible in the world today. We make sure that all our hardware and software are as up-​to-​date and modern as possible. We are located very close to the CBD of Sydney, and there is ample parking available outside the recording studio.

We have four experienced music producers and audio engineers available to take sessions. We can provide everything from sound engineering to music production and direction, orchestration and scoring, instrument session work, composition for TV commercials and film; and even assistance to external producers and musicians who wish to use the space for their own projects.

History

Established in 2006.

Our Sydney Recording Studio began in 2006 and quickly became the central hub for recording voice over and ADR, particularly for professional speakers. Our specialty has become recording the voice at the absolute highest quality possible. We also edit and produce the speeches so that our clients sound like the greatest speakers on earth.

Voice over recording and ADR led our company into the arena of TV commercial composition and film scoring, and we have developed a strong foundation in recording albums, EPs and singles for music artists as well.

Music recording and voice over recording require very different skills. However, both areas of the recording industry rely heavily on very high-​end and expensive equipment. The equipment itself then relies on specially trained personnel to operate it. We were able to employ the best people in the industry and we are very proud to be able to continue to serve our clients at the highest level possible.

Meet the Business Owner

James E.

Business Owner

James Englund is one of Australia’s top Audio Engineers, Music Producers and performing Artists. He has worked with industry greats such as John Butler, Michael Bolton and Ten CC. He has also worked closely with engineers and artists like Michael Brauer (4-​time Grammy Award winner and mixer of Coldplay, John Mayer, Jeff Buckley, and more), Mike Stavrou (Sting, Elton John), Deni Hines, Erika Heynatz, and more.

James also works as an audio professional and composer for screen music projects including film, documentary, TVC, Web Series and corporate promo. As well as being a highly professional vocalist/​singer and experienced performing artist in his own right, James is a multi-​instrumentalist; he plays Guitar, Bass, Piano, Saxophone and an array of other instruments.

In 2012, James released an iPhone App called Audio Engineer, which enjoyed instant success as the world’s first app textbook for audio engineers, producers and musicians.
