Some people say there are only two certainties in life. Whilst they are busy harping on about the mundane, why not ghost on them and grab the two best things in life instead? Dumplings and beer is a hole in the wall that specialise in just those two things, warm parcels of joy and cold glasses of wonder. This place is popular for a reason, the menu is short but the food is good. Being able to wash it down with a beer takes things to a whole new level. Get in early to grab a seat, space is limited.

The place is cool, very small but the people are friendly. The food is good, and for a generally expensive city like Sydney the price isn’t bad, but the portions were still relatively small for what you pay for. For hole in the wall places like this we always expect to come away feeling satisfied, but we came away not as full as we’d wanted for what we’d paid.

The duck wraps are fabulous, the pork buns are delicious and the veggie and gluten free options are good too. Some high quality beers on offer as well. Welcoming atmosphere in an interesting space. Handy hours of operation — grab a late lunch, for example.

Cosy and authentic. Soft and fresh pork buns, yummy duck pancakes, nice dumplings. Coming back to try the sliders. Reasonably priced too!

Was referred to this venue by a local at the pub, turned out the be a great find! Small modern venue with wide variety of dumplings, pork buns and vegetable sides. The Peking duck rolls were amazing very good size with generous portions for a great price. The soup dumplings I must say weren’t as good as other venues I’ve been to.
