I’m no chocolate lover but the chocolates in here make pretty gifts! They even have chocolate in the shape of a pair of heels — which come in a hat box! Prices are more expensive than Haigh’s down the road. Have been here twice and both times an employee was stocking the shelves from massive cardboard boxes full of chocolates — seeing this ruined my impression of the store as stocking fine, handmade chocolates — looked mass produced. As for taste, I bought some chocolate frogs in a jar as a gift once and the chocolate was too hard — although I’m not a chocolate eater normally so I’m not the best judge.

This is a nice chocolate shop in the heart of the city. Josophan’s chocolate is originally from Lawson up in the Blue Mountains, but you can now get here in Sydney. This is not a café like Bön Bön, but just sells their hand made chocolate. This is nice if you need a different gift for someone. Their drinking chocolate is good, and they have a large array of different small chocolates. They have flavours like Mango and chilli, and Basil and strawberry. Even though their flavours are different, I still think that the chocolate here is not as good as Bön Bön. I personally prefer Bön Bön chocolate as I think it has more layers and substance. Especially as both stores are not cheap. So come here if you want something different, but expect to pay a bit for it.
