They don’t have many of these buffets around anymore which is such a shame as The Works at Pizza Hut is an adult’s long lost dream. I remember going here as a kid, and to this day, I am still as happy. The pizza hut buffet is where creativity, hunger, the love of everything bad and grease come together to make one amazingly, enjoyable, explosive food experience. All for a low price of only $ 19.95*. The layout is as simple as a child’s mind. There are three bars: hot bar, cold bar and dessert bar. Hot bar includes all the pizzas you remember eating to death as a kid, refilled so quickly, you have to go back for more. They vary it by putting out thick crust and thin based pizzas. Hot Bar also includes their signature pasta dish which is the best part of this buffet(that mystery meat sauce has the magical addictiveness of MSG), garlic bread and salty fat French fries. The cold bar is for when you feel too fat from all the carbs and need the token salad to offset your gluttony. If you have an eating disorder or get very guilty after eating too much, the salad bar is actually pretty decent, it has spinach leaves, olives, corn, tomato, carrot, celery, and a whole bunch of other salad ingredients for you to make a decent salad. Make sure to take note of the bacon bits, they look like round pieces of dog food, I’m pretty sure they could actually be for animal consumption. The last bar is the dessert bar, the climax of the fun at the works as a kid. Everything at the dessert bar is awesome with the first prize going to the soft serve with the added complements of peanuts, marshmallows, choc chips, sprinkles and chocolate sauce. Second best part is the jelly, with red, orange and green available– this jelly is better than the one from the hospitals. Finally, brownies!!! Make sure to eat this with the soft serve and the chocolate sauce. There’s also the token fruit but I recommend you to stay away as it’s usually as rotten as you feel at the end of the magical binge session. I know most adults won’t find the place as magical as all the kids under 12 but here are some creative things you must do when at the works: –Make a lasagne; you have all the ingredients available. Start by combining meat pasta sauce and the carbonara pasta sauce on a plate, layer on a thin based cheese pizza, repeat with layers ending with the meat sauce, finish with a sprinkle of parmesan and grated cheese from the salad bar. Add salad to deceive yourself that you’re eating a gourmet meal. –Make a spider. Fill yourself a soft drink from the drink bar, add soft serve ice cream. Given the soft serve is quite an interesting consistency; the spider may or may not fizz. –Dip the garlic bread and fat French fries into the meat sauce. This meat sauce tastes great with everything! –Make some weird mixes which may or may not end well. E.g. soft serve/meat sauce/bacon bits or pizza/chocolate sauce/French fries *Price does not include drinks bar.

I know its a Pizza hut and is a massive chain. And no one in particular wants to read a review on Pizza Hut. Since I had a really pleasant experience I thought I should share. I went there with my family. My nearly 5 year old son loves Pizzas. We went there and saw that they have a 19.99 $ per person all you can eat buffet. For kids its 8.95 $. And in the buffet they serve all the different pizzas. They have a consistent flow of freshly made hot pizzas being served. Along with the pizzas they have a salad bar, hot chips, garlic bread and pastas. You also get the dessert which included — brownies, ice creams and hot chocolate serves. Perfect for people who want to spend hours just chatting and eating the piping hot Pizzas. I think its a steal for that price.
