Great little bar that serves craft beers and dumplings. The dumplings went down a treat!

This was a cool find. The basement has a cool, industrial looking bar. The dumplings were great and $ 1 on Tuesdays. Great after work crowd or somewhere to just go and chat.

I love this little bar. Having craft beer and specialty wines on offer, this quite little bar is the best place to come for a relaxing drink with friends. If you are lucky you can get the small space on the veranda. The vibe here is extremely relaxed and chilled. This is not a place to have a big night, but more of a place to have a drink and a chat with friends. The food here is limited, but nice. I usually order one of the salads and the spiders — they are the best thing here. But if you are extremely hunger maybe you should eat somewhere else.

By far my very fav haunt for an after work drink or two. Great wines, super cool atmosphere and excellent banter from the bar staff. They treat regulars like family. Oh and the dumplings are amazing. Perfect for lunch and also great to share, with the right company.

Keeping this review short and sweet. It’s my place to go for a coffee and sourdough toast with any spread for, wait for it…$ 4.50!!! What a great deal in the city with cool hipsters working behind the counter. Coffee here is smooth and has nice nutty after taste. Ask for a double shot if you like your coffee stronger.

Ah, I love this little bar. Used to go there quite a bit and have very fond memories. It’s tiny with just a few tables, casual yet kinda classy, absolutely perfect for a cozy catch up with a friend — they have a nice wine selection, bartenders are super friendly and the dumplings are delicious, quite cheap and great for sharing. I’d recommend it if you’re around the area and looking for a small intimate bar.

Suggested this place for after work drinks after I read the reviews. Its a cool tiny little bar, that is really a «foxhole.» They have cute little benches and a cool atmosphere. The bar menu is a bit limiting, they only really have wines and beers and random food — sharing plate and dumplings. The staff is really friendly, good place for a few drinks.

Can’t believe I haven’t been to this place before! A long established Café downstairs, that has since acquired the upstairs space, has turned itself into a great small bar. Greeted upon arrival, the bar manager was friendly and knowledgeable steering us through the menu and on a little food adventure. Their menu is different from most small bars, with a super selection of dumplings alongside some typical sharing plates. I was however, VERY impressed with the pricing!!! A solid point of difference that will have me going back! Décor was well done, dark wood floors, great looking bar and monthly rotating art showcasing a different artist, keeping the décor fresh and always interesting. Live music will be staring up soon also, so keep an eye out for that one!

The Foxhole is dependable and trusty when everything else in the city is closing down at 3pm and you need something to eat or a coffee break on a laborious working day. The coffee is great the Sonoma bread sandwiches are weighty and is great value.. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The place is intimate and pleasant. It’s kind of New York loft style with raw brick walls, high ceiling and pictures of NYC cityscapes and yellow cabs. From midweek onwards its worth a after work drop in and its buzzing with city workers with the same idea or those that cannot get into that ‘small bar’ down the road. It offers wines, beer and cocktails and has good music all the elements to keeping a pocket sized crowd happy.
