Open ²⁴⁄₇ — Snap is fast, easy and clean — coin operated, self service laundromat located in Taringa, Brisbane. Centrally located to Taringa, St Lucia, Toowong, Milton, Auchenflower, Chelmer and Graceville.

Snap has big, modern and reliable Dexter washing machines and express dryers. We provide FREE high quality detergent automatically dispensed into all the front loaders.

All machines take just 25 minutes to finish.

Snap Laundromat Taringa is the first laundromat in Australia to ‘internet enable’ the washers and dryers. Pay and activate the machines, via secure credit card payments through Eziwash, using a smart phone or laptop.

There is also a change machine available onsite. All machines accept $ 1 and $ 2 coins.

Huge MAXI LOAD is also available — great for huge loads, doonas, king size stuff. The Maxi can take up to 20 kilos.

We offer FREE internet WiFi for all our laundry customers, and have a great undercovered seating area, so you can browse the internet or catch up on emails while you wait for your washing!

Easy parking is available on the street outside, and bus stops just outside.

Great restaurant/​café next door to, so that you can enjoy a meal or coffee while you wait.

History

Established in 2013.

The Coin Op Laundromat has been at the corner of Whitmore and Westerham Streets in Taringa for 20 years!

Our family purchased the business in June 2013, and have renovated it with all new equipment including Dexter Laundry machines and express dryers. Snap Laundromat opened for business in July 2013.

When Snap Laundromat’s owners, Michelle & Ian, recently renovated their coin operated laundry business in Taringa, Brisbane, they only ever considered Dexter Laundry equipment to replace the old existing machines.

«We have friends in this business who upgraded their equipment to Dexters, and they have never looked back,» Michelle said.

«Not only do they look great on the outside with polished chrome doors and stainless steel top, front and side panels; they are even tougher on the inside. They all feature commercial grade components, and are built to last a generation.»

«We are very proud of the facelift we have given the local laundromat here at Taringa. We receive lots of support and encouragement from our customers and other business owners in the area, and this is much appreciated. We have heaps of improvements and plans for the future too.»
