Avoid their service center, they will lie and claim you need unnecessary repairs.
I had my mazda serviced here for years starting with its first service. After the first couple I kept being told that I needed to have extra repairs done. I know nothing about cars so would authorise the extras until I was told I needed urgent repairs that would cost almost $ 3000.
As my car was only 3 years old I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion, they replaced the battery for $ 160 and I’ve not had another issue despite driving a further 25 000ks and undergoing two services at reputable mazda dealers since. which is amazing as the person at centenary was «so worried» about me driving the car without the repairs. These people don’t seem to realise that by claiming that a newish car constantly needs repairs they’re hardly convincing people about the reliability of mazdas.

I would quite happily hand back my brand new Mazda and get a refund, even if it meant paying back the extra $ 3k I’ve accrued in interest so far (but only because Mercedes-​Benz financial services have been amazing to me). I would’ve bought a Hyundai, Ford, Toyota… anything but a Mazda if I’d know what terrible after-​sales service I’d be getting from these guys. Or even just bought it somewhere else. I have nothing against Mazda the company, just these… (expletives.) Trying to resolve anything just ends in calls and letters being dodged, emails going unanswered… don’t waste your time.

I bought my beloved little Mazda 3 from this dealership. My first ‘work car’ which I could afford. I’ve had cars before but I was starting my professional career, I needed a car that reflected I meant business and was no longer the poor struggling university student. I have made it!
So I did what most girls my age did, bought a mazda 3. I did look around, but at the end of the day, the guys at Centenary Mazda had the stock of the model I wanted (there was a waiting period for the others), the colour I wanted, the accessories I wanted (they threw in free floor mats worth $ 250) and treated me with the professionalism I felt I deserved. Plus, i’d never spent so much before of my savings. Phew.
I never had a problem with my car, in fact as long as I took it back there for servicing ever time it was due, it kept the resale value and I recently sold it for more than it was averaging (bargain!). They will also give you lifts into the city and back from the city if you need to service your car on a work day — extra bonus!
