Wow, this place was amazing. The food was outstanding, the service was incredible, the craft beer list was a stand out, maybe the best on the central coast. We ordered two tapas items and a pizza, which for two of us was the perfect amount of food. Highly recommended.

I recently went to Four Hands for a friends birthday. My friend has recently moved into the area and had heard good things about the restaurant so we were really looking forward to it. We arrived at the restaurant for our 6pm booking to be greeted with a «just a reminder we need you to leave by 7.45pm as we have to set up for our 8pm bookings»… What?! First I heard this! We learnt that the bookings are done in sessions. There is 6pm or 8pm session. At the time of booking we were not made aware of this and only given the option of 6pm for dinner. We were still waiting on a couple of people to arrive which made the waitress edgy and keep reminding us over and over again about us moving on by 7.45 with a gentle«I don’t want to rush you but»… Too late! We ordered drinks and the house bread and hummus dip. By 6.30pm some of the party hadn’t shown up yet, we were advised it would be best to just order pizzas as the whole tapas and pizza experience would take time and would be best to try another time. So those of us that were there gave our orders which was returned with another reminder of our 7.45 curfew. By 7pm our last 2 friends had arrived they were followed to the table by the waitress and their orders were taken and issued another«I don’t want to rush you but». Finally our pizzas arrived, we had the roasted chicken, peking duck, pepperoni and chilli prawn… Delicious! We finished our food with 10 minutes to spare. The waitress returned to our table to remind us that we have 10 minutes which wouldn’t leave us enough time for dessert. A couple more drinks were ordered and the bill was requested. Our last drinks arrived as did the bill to which was met with our 7 minute warning. We paid, finished our drinks and left with 1 minute to spare. All in all the food(that we were allowed to order) was delicious but the fact that every time we saw the waitress we were reminded of our 7.45pm curfew with a «I don’t want to rush you but» made the whole experience rushed and unenjoyable!

Four Hands Pizza gets our four hands way up there! Recommended by our Air BnB we checked this place out for dinner. Be advised that after 6pm it is full on reservation mode and will be crawling with beach go-ers and friendly natives. I’m so happy to report that this has been the BESTPIZZA we have had since moving to Sydney. The pizza dough was light but had a crunchy bottom, the cheese was salty goodness and the prawn was beautiful with a light sauce on top. To start we chose their bruschetta special with halloumi and tomato and a balsamic vinegar reduction and the calamari. The breaded calamari was okay once I asked for some lemon, but it was missing that salty/crunchy exterior I love so much. Go for the pizza! you will not be disappointed.

The more decent of restaurants available in Terrigal is this place. I’ve been here a couple times with various peoples. Best enjoyed on a hot summer day, they have a nice open door, cool breeze in your face vibe. On my most recent visit we turned up without reservation despite them being busy they were able to seat us on our preferential seating. The service was bubbly, energetic and fairly on time. They go plentiful on the tapas and heavy on the pizzas here, so prepare yourself. The food is inventive, edible and top quality. I honestly had no troubles with our tapas bonanza only that we couldn’t finish it all. They do some a small dessert menu which it written up on a blackboard on the wall. Apparently they recommend you try their homemade churros. Hmmm. The atmosphere is very laidback and classic beachy style. A very fitting restaurant for the Terrigal food scene that’s not an obvious tourist trap. Recommended.

This is a great atmosphere and attentive staff. Kara was a brilliant waitress who was just the right amount of caring. Not interfering our conversations and just popping over at the right time. The food was flavourful and prompt. There were 4 in our party and we had tapas and a couple of tapas and 3 bottles of wine ending up only $ 45 a head. Loved the cosy atmosphere that was just the right temperature for an Autumn night. There were no negatives from our night :) Thanks for hosting a great night out for us girls.
