I recently started a new job near this place, so naturally when it came to lunch time I ventured over to take a look. The first thing I saw outside was a water cooler with some cups and bottles of cordial. These are complimentary for customers which is a nice touch. Yes you can buy soft drinks inside, but if you’re short on money you don’t need to. I ordered a chicken fillet burger and I received a monster! This burger was absolutely huge and filled my stomach to capacity. The bacon was nice and crispy and the chicken was cooked just nicely. I was so keen to get stuck into it I burned the top of my mouth. OUCH! That being said, it was well worth it. The inside of the place looks well and truly out of date, but it’s filled with intentionally old style décor. Old tins, shelves and an old clock. It’s quite charming actually. The staff are really friendly and the cook likes to know whether you enjoyed your meal.
