This shop is only two weeks old and they don’t even have signage or business cards yet, but it’s already getting a fair bit of interest. They’re in a good position for foot traffic, being next to The Deli and across from the Wheatsheaf. The store design is vintage glamour cabaret style, with red velvet curtains and chandeliers, and the clothes are in good condition with some decent labels to be found like Wheels and Doll Baby and Mink Pink. They also have a range of cool T-shirts the boys would be into. The prices were a little higher than I expected, I think this will be more of a high end vintage store than a bargain op shop. The store owner was super friendly and very chatty, she was web surfing for website design inspiration and shared some handy Moulin Rouge trivia with me while I browsed. Next time you’re out West check them out.

Depending on the font you use to read this the first 3 letters could either be all capital«I“s or lowercase«L“s. I can assure you that it’s actually«ILL». With that out of the way… This little store deals with fashion for men, women and children. You can find new pieces or older, I suppose you call them vintage, pieces. A lot of the clothing is actually really nice. I wish it fit my normal style. As it is, if I was seen wearing some of the stuff they sell people would wonder what happened to me. I’m more of a «smart casual» dresser. Maybe it’s time for a change… As it is, there’s a bit of everything here, and with a bit more digging around I’m sure even I could find something to walk away with. I’m sure more visits will prove this.
