History
Established in 2006.
Born in Port Melbourne from a love of flowers and wanting to create gorgeous arrangements that were a little bit different. The Bay Street shop was an institution for many years and then the online store was added. For a while, there was only an online presence, then the current owner decided flowers are such tactile, beautiful things, they really need to be seen and smelt and able to pick up and take straight away. So a move to a new suburb, Thornbury, was effected. A tree-change!

After a long stint in corporate world, Heidi decided to follow a dream. She’d always been creative, studying fashion and textile design, and really wanted to be able to work with her hands and do something more exciting. She found it in floristry and then when Prickly Pear came on the market, she saw a great opportunity.
