RIO Sound and Vision

I have been in the market for a DSP sound bar for my home theatre setup for a while — my wife and I live in a small CBD flat and I’m not really looking to get into the fully separated unit option; just too expensive. We watch a lot of TV, so something that let us get more out of the audio than the Sharp LCD’s native speakers gave us was desirable.
RIO Sound and Vision was a google query away — I knew what I was after, and they claimed to carry it, and had a website with a great design that didn’t contain any annoying flash or unnecessary bells and whistles. Great summary of their products, clean presentation and fantastic looking prices.
So I gave RIO a call and the friendly staff said they had stock and quoted the price.
Off to the tram we went and after a comedy of Yarra Trams failures (I know, I’m repeating myself, they seem to DEFINE failure…) we arrived at RIO’s doorstep and found exactly what I wanted. Bought and paid for in minutes, and had a great chat with the salesman whilst we awaited a taxi to bring us back to the city. The store has a great looking selection, and a full testing/​theatre room. If I were in the market for more AV, I’d be back to RIO first!
