Hell yes! I can’t be arsed going into the wild goose chase that led me here but the smoked pinto beans & haloumi breakfast has put me in a great mood for the long drive I have ahead of me. Super yum! Nice staff, got to sit outside in the sun sheltered from the icy blast for a minute. Ta T-Bar, it’s been real.

Often drop in here. Good coffee, always a paper, variety of places to sit to suite the mood. Interestingly coffees on the weekend never seem quite as good as the weekend. I am not sure why.

I have been here a few times, but this was the first brekky visit. I liked the variety! My bf had a brekky risotto, and I found myself sneaking some of it. I had the avo, toast, mushrooms and roasted tomatoes. It was more than I needed. The coffees were fabulous. The only downside was there was no table service(there used to be), and it’s slightly more pricey than other brekky spots. It’s a fabulous place for dinner. Food is amazing, mind blowing sticky date pudding, but it’s been a while since I’ve been there for an evening.

The number of years I’ve been visiting GPO is too many to publicly confess to you fellow Unilocalers, suffice to say I’ve seen many owners come and go in this café/restaurant spot. The latest incarnation seems to have something in their formula working in their favour because the space has it’s groove back. There’s a new atmosphere in the air when you walk into the old GPO building on Toowoomba’s Margaret Street. Now serving Campos Coffee it is one of the only places I’ll get coffee when visiting Toowoomba. Should you ever be driving through, do stop by if only to view the majestic old GPO building.
