great position but the flowers are never very fresh. last time i poked my head in i was being hopeful about getting a few bunches of tulips. instead i was met with tulips that had the petals falling off and were still full price. wont be going back again. this place is fairly expensive but the quality is fair at best. not as bad as coles can be but very overpriced for what it is.

I was a bit blown away with the selection of flowers in this florist, considering its small suburban shopping centre location. Tulips, kale flowers, roses, native flowers, massive orchids and much more. The prices weren’t too extortionate at all, compared to other florist’s prices I have seen in Perth. The lady at the counter was very lovely and even wrapped my orchid up for free knowing it was a gift. Hurrah!

Florists are often conveniently positioned at the entrance of shopping centres for two reasons. Firstly: to act as a pretty sight to greet shoppers whose money the centre’s managers gladly welcome. Secondly: to be the last store you see on your way out, too, hoping that you’ll stop by to buy flowers for that someone special. I’ve seen this place looking beautiful on Valentine’s Day. All colour coordinated in different sections of the shop but just about every other day of the year, things look decidedly tacky. Too much plastic wrapping around their flowers, to start with. Why can’t they put roses and tulips in pretty coloured cardboard boxes like the many florists in Mt Lawley do? And why are the bouquet prices so steep? $ 35 for a bunch of gerbras? Maybe on Valintine’s Day, love, but not every other day of the year when so much competition around you is offering just as beautiful floristry for a song.
