Turramurra Station got a revamp recently, and now it comes with an Oasis. Perched at the top of the station steps is Café Oasis, you’re double shot caffeine stop before you jump on a train.
Yes, I said double shot — beware.
This little hole-​in-​the-​wall also offers milkshakes, sandwiches and muffins, but I’ve only ever grabbed a skim cap. The baristas are pretty meticulous, so be sure to leave enough time before your train! Also beware that a large coffee will set you back $ 4.20 — a price unthinkable in the CBD but seemingly fine for the leafy north shore.
The beans are Vittoria and the coffee is strong. Definitely the right move to start your day. And grabbing a regular coffee card might help take the edge off that hefty price tag.
