Hotel HQ

Defiantly the chef, this tea, is special we’ll thought out flavours in our salad and crispy prawns. Best hotel food, on our OZ trip.

We had a quick late lunch in the restaurant on monday the 28^th dec.
It wasMonday pizza for $ 9.95 and i ordered the Mexican hand stretched item while my other half had the salt and pepper calamari.
Both were delivered freshly cooked and as everyone knows calamari is a risky dish to order. Today it was about as perfect as it gets and neither tough like leather nor cold and uncooked, superb effort
Monday pizza at a discount in most pub grub menus, normally means the normally supplied ingredients locked away and second rate pizzas arrive at the table .
When this occurs i no longer get upset, i get even-​never to return under any circumstance — as I have to a couple of close hotels .
The HQ did the right thing and out came their everyday ofering and it was awesome .
Every ingredient was fresh and NICE!
SO I ENJOYED MY LATE LUNCH PIZZA WASHED DOWN WITH 2 CRISP APPLE CIDERS !
Given this was a public holiday and I thought it was going to be hit and miss service and food ;the HQ WAS A STANDOUT.
I have been going to the HQ since it was built and the Hotel has generally maintained the standard expected. With a short period after coles bought the license. But I guess Coles are smart enough to make sure that this pub doesn’t fall into its generic menu offering that is assigned to a majority of their properties .
