Mazfix Turbo & Hi-Tech Performance

I just got my car back from Mazfix… I’m… pretty upset to say the least.
The Problem: Coolant was disappearing, after investigating, they found the cause to be a leak from the heater core.
Mazfix solution: Remove the dash, replace the core with genuine part valued at $ 950. Plus 16 hours labour making the total about $ 3200.00
Mazda Solution: After a good 8 phone calls to Oldmac Mazda and a couple other mazda stores, they assured me that they could do the entire job INCLUDING cleaning the carpet that had leaked coolant all over in a MAXIMUM of 6 hours, but they expect less. The offered me 2 options, second hand core for $ 300 or a new one for $ 950. Total job cost is $ 1400 w/​second hand. They also said they would show me how to bypass the core FOR FREE. Mazfix said I couldn’t do that.
I spoke with mazfix about it, they reluctantly gave my car back. I was horrified when I got it back. Grease all over the roof, broken clips from panels being removed, they obviously put something very sharp on the passenger seat because I got two big dimples that won’t go away. Just sloppy sloppy work… words cannot describe.
In Mazfix Defence: I feel I should mention this just so everyone knows the whole story. Mazfix just called in the middle of writing this, they got the photos you see below, they are absolutely sure that they didn’t touch the center console. The grease on the roof, they said they can’t answer for, but they also said bring it in and we’ll have a look and if its our fault we’ll fix it. Now I’m making the personal decision not to go any further with this, I just want to take my car to mazda and have them sort everything out. I’m over it.
I will also say that I know for a fact that the center console was secure and firm in place BEFORE I went to mazfix because a week before I dropped it off I had Autobarn pull it apart and install a GROM unit in the back of the stereo. And I check everything over THOROUGHLY. Autobarn Springwood always do amazing work I have to say.
