A lot of good times were had by not going to class and staying here in the Courtyard Café. The actual café is a small indoor area off to the side of the courtyard and it holds several tables and a fabric line divider. This little café is licensed, which means that you can enjoy some cold adult beverages in the sunny courtyard and thereby beat the madness that is the Manning Bar at midday. Brilliant!
Although, for those not inclined to consume alcohol in the middle of the day, the café serves and sells all the staples, along with a range of warm and cold salads. Particular mention has to go to the apple cinnamon muffins. Firstly, I have no idea how these things maintain their upright stature — they are massive and top heavy. Secondly, I have no idea how they get so much apple in the muffin itself. Mine never turn out like that and these have chunks and chunks of the stuff. I could really go for one now. I think I better dip my head in some ice water and calm down.
