Astro Petes

Just when I thought that coffee shops have had to show all that they can in the way of innovation and setting themselves apart, I stumbled upon Astro Petes. This is a café like any, however its part trick is that it has a space theme. You can actually go to Astro Petes and gaze at the stars through powerful telescopes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
This in my opinion is very cool and unique. Even though the coffee is not the best in Brisbane it does not matter because the coffee is just a side kick to the star gazing.
If you have no idea what you are looking at or even where to point the telescope you are not alone and luckily the staff at Astro Petes are starting Saturday workshops that are free of charge, how good is that? I for one am going to try my hand at the classes and see what I can learn. This is perfect for people who can’t afford telescopes or want to try it out before buying one. If you are interested in getting a personal telescope you need to go no further because at Astro Petes they sell all the gear you will need and some of them start at as little as 80 dollars. Along with this they also sell authentic NASA gear which is quite cool because apart from going to America this is as close as you will get
