No matter which genre of music you want to learn Sarah is open to your tastes and will have you playing your favourite style in no time! Whether pop, rock, jazz, blues, classical or something in between, the choice is yours.

History

Established in 2007.

Sarah Strachan took on her first guitar student at age 17. SInce then SJS Music Tuition has continued to grow and bring the joy of music to new and old students.

Business Owner

Sarah Strachan trained in classical piano during her teens while practising rock and blues on the guitar in her spare time. She took on her first guitar student at age 17 and enjoyed the experience, wanting to further her teaching work.

Since then she has studied jazz, blues and composition at Box Hill Institute and Australian Catholic University to further her skills as well as writing her own songs and performing in bands. She has taught piano and guitar at the Patch Primary School, piano and songwriting at Andrea’s School of Voice and keyboard groups at Sound Foundations Music School, all the while building her home business.

Sarah is passionate about music and teaching.
