If you’re going camping or backpacking and you’re planning on doing it in style(read: you’re backpacking because you’re a masochist, not because you’re cheap), this is your shop. The stuff they sell is excellent, but bring your extremely healthy cheque book. I’ve got a backpack I bought here a few years ago. It was expensive, but it’s been extremely useful, long lasting and comfortable to lug around. Mind you, I did buy an army surplus ruck at the same time, and that was not only cheaper, but was better for carrying a large amount of stuff, and it has worn equally well. If you’re planning to spend some time in the snowfields, a shopping trip here for some appropriate clothing is a good idea. I do like this shop, but it’s not one that I go into regularly.
