Sambag

It’s not a fashion season if I don’t have a pair of shoes from Sambag. My love affair started about three years ago, when you could only find the label in inconspicuous stores throughout Melbourne. Now they have their very own store, and I can browse it to my heart’s content.
The shoes here are to a very particular taste. They’re mostly casual flats, wedges, and sandals, but they’re all very colourful and appealing designs and patterns.
My affair grew when I bought a faulty pair of shoes from here. I know that sounds odd but I brought them back to the store without a receipt, 7 months after purchase, and they exchanged them! I couldn’t believe how generous they were. And then I got to buy a whole new pair — and they were flawless. You can tell it was probably the best day of my life.
So if you’re sick of most of the casual shoe stores around Melbourne, take a peak and Sambag and be very pleasantly surprised.
