The staff here have been incredible. They are very efficient, caring and attend to your every need. Every face here had been a smiling face and the care I have received has been perfect. Would prefer a few more TV channels but that’s the only negative I can think of.

The San is well known for being one great hospital to visit or being a patient in. There are a number of people to help you when you arrive to go to the correct place, I was totally lost! Thank you to the volunteers! They are wonderful. The staff were lovely and considerate. I even had a laugh in a awkward situation. Love positive receptionists and nurses.

Despite being all the way north of the Sydney Harbour bridge and going through some construction issues at my time of visit, the SAN is fairly well setup. The car parking is relatively easy to find and there is a lot of it. They have mini buses that come to the car park and deliver you up to the main entrance every 10min(round trip). Parking is paid, but $ 15 for 6 hours was OK to me, someone used to paying steeper fees in Sydney. The main building is going through some work and they are setting up a new covered car park(hence all the construction), but it was relatively easy to navigate the SAN main building and the staff are reasonably friendly. As always, it’s a hospital so fees are steep to cover all the doctors stupidly excessive public liability insurance fees as well as all the other stuff Dr’s have to cover. There are excessive amounts of paperwork if you are a patient, so have patience(pun intended) as well as leaving yourself lots of time. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon(who does?), but if its my only choice of hospital, I won’t be disappointed.
