Wahroonga Gourmet Charcoal Chicken

I used to come here back in the day after school. We would venture over to Wahroonga Charcoal Chicken for takeaway and bring it to the local park where we would eat on the lawn. The chicken is full of flavour and the chips with chicken salt are delicious!
You can easily strike up a conversation with one of the staff as they serve you potato salad or pasta. All the food is freshly prepared daily and the chooks are cooked in front of you behind the counter which can make the store a little warm at times. The aroma is so addictive, you won’t walk out without a picnic of goods in your arms. There is also a large variety of salad. Try the avocado salad, it’s yummy!
I recommend the chicken burger– one of the best you will ever be lucky enough to taste! The store is always busy and it’s obvious why! «Charlies» has a small waiting space which can be a little annoying but its a small price to pay!
