This butcher moved into the Woolworths Walkerville complex from The Avenues when the new complex opened.
I like any butcher where the display looks good and it’s a big range. Springfield Meats Walkerville meets my criteria. The staff looked neat and clean in their butcher tops with clearly displayed name tags.
Today I bought the chicken yiros at $ 9.99 kg for dinner tonight. No onion included as a filler which is a good thing. The biggest test is whether my teenage sons like the taste. So I cooked it up with my own onion, put it in a wrap with lettuce, tomato and yoghurt. A winner!
I’ll be back to buy the chicken mignon as they looked really good.
