This café stands out from the many options available on the Terrace in Warrandyte. Its stands out quite literally actually, as outdoor seating among the tree’s divides the multilevel car park. Grab a table on the small balcony for a view of the Yarra River and passing by traffic but also because of the friendly and relaxed service. The breakfast menu of this no-frills café is somewhat limited, but you will find something to temp you. I has scrambled eggs on sourdough bread with tomato and the most unique onions. They were green tinted. They tasted like a slightly sweetened version of BBQ onions. Strange yes, but it all worked. My breakfast companions were equally happy with the big hearty breakfast and an egg dish. Although seeing the pancakes head out made us rethink our choice. The coffee is good and the menu varied. The café itself doesn’t look like much, but it delivers a filling breakfast among the tree’s.
