Don’t be fooled by the website into thinking that this is a fine dining Italian restaurant — it is in fact a pizza shop attached to the cinema. Unlicensed(it may have a BYO licence since a nominal corkage fee is mentioned on the menu), plain tables and chairs, plain painted block walls. However the food is magnificent! We were a party of three: I had the bacon and mushroom risotto, my wife had the chicken, bacon and spinach risotto and our companion had the chicken parmigiana. The risottos were cooked perfectly and we both said that we had never eaten a better one — and even the most expensive restaurants are capable of cooking a bad risotto as we know to our cost. The parmigiana was well done with a flavoursome sauce, a nice salad and delicious chips. The entire staff consisted of three young ladies who I congratulate on their cooking skills and their friendly attitudes. All in all a good place to go to for an enjoyable meal — it was worth 5 stars for the cooking, but lost one for the ambience and lack of a licence(mind you, it didn’t hurt us to only drink water for an evening!).
