Definitely the place to go to buy your meat, the quality is right up there and all the staff, from the owners down to the apprentice, are cheerful and helpful. Want your meat cut a particular way — not a worry. Want your kilo of mince in separate 250g lots — not a worry! Unreservedly recommended. The thick pork sausages are among our favourites, and for special occasions their marinated pork ribs are to die for — not cheap but absolutely delicious.

What a great butcher shop. We saw a little article in the courier mail about their bacon winning a prize in some Aust. Wide competition so we thought we would give them a try and have been buying nearly all of our meat from them ever since. Excellent quality and extremely well priced, what more can you ask for. Steak and Guinness pies and their sausage rolls are excellent if you are looking for something easy and different. The thin pork sausages are probably the best I have ever eaten.

Put simply, this is more than just a fantastic butcher shop, it’s part of the community. Sure, the window and cases are full of fresh cuts and a huge range of hand made sausages. There’s lots of marinated /ready to cook options, and the fridge holds speciality packaged products and incredible hams. But what I saw when I walked in was the childrens drawings on the wall, the certificates of appreciation from local community groups and the butchers greeting customers by name. Give them a few days and they’ll do specialty requests(boned turkey saved me a lot of effort) and they are great at making recommendations. If you live in this area you really shouldn’t be buying your meat from anywhere else.
