This is my backup IGA incase I want to go for a drive. Bigger then Leederville and just as good. Love the cold pressed juices and the deli range looks expansive to say the least. I look forward to trying the various different baked goods.

Recently taken over by the folks who look after Leederville IGA this store has seen some huge improvements of late. Now open 24⁄7. More hot(ready to eat) meals available. Fresh produce quality has improved(understandably so have prices). General appearance of the store. Can’t really fault them at all. I usually visit the Leederville store when looking for something at all hours but will probably drive a little further for Wembley as parking is much easier.

This particular Supa Iga stocks good quality meat from Linley Valley and Amelia Park. Some organic. Lamb mince which is sometimes a little hard to find. Fruit and vegetables are a little expensive but looks good quality. Large deli counter. Located 5 minute drive from Subiaco.

What a great local food store. This IGA supplies lots of unique brands including a 100% vegetarian ready meal which routinely find their way into my basket. As this is a Supa IGA it has a huge selection of goods along with a wide range of specialty foods. Their deli counters is quite big. They are a little bit more pricey especially the fruit & veg section compared to other big supermarkets but they are convenient for me. Some staff are a little quirky which sends you away with a little smile on your face but always courteous. Opening hours are great too being open late Mon — Fri 9pm & Sat — Sun 5pm.

I just realised I haven’t been to the Floreat Forum in weeks because this is such a great supermarket. I think the store layout has improved my diet as I spend more time in the fruit & veg and meat sections, although the aisles have most things I need too. Love the polite high school student cashiers who actually know how to do math. The parking lot can be chaotic on the way home from work but there’s such high turnover you always get a spot. Pleased to be supporting this independent(ish) business.

Despite there being around 4 other IGA’s between my house and the Wembley IGA, I prefer this outlet for a number of reasons. Firstly, there is free undercover parking, which can be a godsend in both inclement and really hot weather. Secondly, I prefer the IGA over say, Woolies or Coles, because it’s smaller, yet has pretty much everything I need. This IGA even has a Lennard’s Chicken outlet within the store. There is also a decent quantity of organic fresh produce(fruit, vegetables and meat), gluten free glories(eg: Brookfarm cereals) and an interesting range of artisan gourmet products, from WA and elsewhere. The prices here for the shelved product is generally on par with the major chains, if not a little cheaper overall. I have to say, though, that I do not buy my fresh [fruit and veg] produce here, unless pressed for time, as their pricing is noticeably higher than elsewhere. Please note that the meat quality and price is excellent. Mince, for example, is far cheaper than at the major chains. They have a lot of staff and the shop and shelves are always spick and span. The queues at the check out are short because there are plenty operating and the staff are really friendly. Now that I think about it, the other thing missing is the kid having the full on tantrum, screeching like a banshee. I’ve never seen that here, either. Bonus! At the same little shopping centre is a Baker’s Delight, a Michael’s Chemist, a Bankwest branch including an ATM and a café. So you really could spend the whole morning or arvo here, if you were that way inclined.
