First of all, isn’t that just the cutest name ever for a fruit store! Secondly, the range and variety of fruits and vegetables at Adam’s Apple is a credit to their owners. Buying from a local owner who buys local produce always makes you feel better and plenty of that can be done here. Aside from the fruit and vegetables they sell a massive range of bottled and canned goods. These range of from oils and sauces to juices and preserved goods such as olives and cheeses. They also have packaged dried coffee and a pick n mix section which I love and takes me back to the golden days when I was a child. Also, they had some great specials on including a punnet of strawberries for 99c…99c! What a bargain!

Adam’s Apple has the best selection of fruits and vegetables available in the West Lakes Shopping Mall. I’ve become quite the regular here as I live off fruits and vegetables and it’s always nice when you come into the store and you’re treated like a friend of the staff. Great customer service like that is what brings customers coming back for more. I’ve never had a problem with any of the produce that I’ve purchased from Adam’s Apple. It’s always fresh and delicious. They also sell these amazing peanut butter pretzels. Seriously, they’re pretzels filled with peanut butter. Heaven in the mouth.

Adam’s Apple is a gorgeous fresh fruit and vege store that puts a lot of effort into maintaining a great range of fresh food and herbs, which it supplements with a nut corner and wall of marinades and sauces. Above the fresh food are racks of preserved veges of all descriptions, including many exotic looking pickles and half a dozen different kinds of sauerkraut. This is the grocer for vegetarians and vegans, since it has all cooking requirements for any vege dishes, along with dried beans and lentils. Their herb rack is also comprehensive. Fruit and vegetable prices here are comparable to the supermarket and consistently reasonable, so it’s nice to shop at a more personal, locally owned grocer. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere nice. I like getting a whiff of fresh herbs as I walk past the shelves holding their little pots.
