One of those shops that gives you the impression that they’re only temporary, and will only be there until the stock is gone. I’ve been in a few times. It isn’t a terribly busy shop, and I think that the person behind the counter is grateful to have someone browsing simply to alleviate the boredom of running a quiet retail store.
This place isn’t anything flash. The range is, well, limited. If you’re looking for something particular, I can almost guarantee you won’t find it here, no matter how many piles of books you look under. So it’s a bookshop where you won’t find what you’re looking for, unless you’re not looking for anything specific. What it is good for, is for gift shopping. You know that feeling of having to buy something for someone in the office that you don’t really know? Like Secret Santa sort of stuff? This is a good place to shop for that.
