History

Established in 2009.

PVE opened in November of 2009, starting with a small team of vets and nurses led by Emergency and Critical Care Specialist Dr Angela See. We initially provided after-​hours care only, closing during the day on Monday to Friday. Since then we have grown significantly, and now field a large team of highly trained and experienced staff, while still maintaining a small family business philosophy. We now employ over 20 staff and operate 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr Angela See is a veterinarian with ten years of experience in emergency and critical care. Angela graduated from the University of Queensland, worked in general practice and various emergency centres in Qld for several years then flew over to the great west for a residency in 2005. Her residency in emergency and critical care at Murdoch University was completed in 2008 during which she qualified to sit Fellowship examinations. Having successfully completed her exams in 2011, Angela is now a Fellow in emergency and critical care, adding to the small group of Criticalists in Australia who hold this qualification.

In between shifts and management duties, Angela is a bit of a crazy cat lady and tends to mollycoddle her two needy Burmese cats, Arthur and Douglas, Devon Rex Charlotte, Maine Coon Bernard, and her elderly Labrador, Sasha.
